About This Game
Memory Dungeon Quest turns a classic memory match game into a turn-based dungeon crawl. Every floor lays out a grid of face-down cards, and each pair you uncover does something: matching an attack card — an Overhead Cleave, Thrust, Shield Bash, or a run-ending Critical Strike — lands a hit on the monster in front of you, while Minor Heal, Complete Heal, and Power Enhance pairs patch you up or sharpen your blade. But memory cuts both ways. Every mismatch costs you health, and flipping two cards you have already seen and still getting it wrong hurts twice as much, so paying attention is your best armor.
Clear all the monsters on a floor to crack open a treasure chest for gold and a full heal, then descend deeper as the board grows larger and the monsters grow meaner. Battle through goblins, skeletons, zombies, and orcs across the first three floors before the final floor pits you against a single dungeon boss. Defeat it to clear the dungeon — fall in battle and your run ends. Gold piles up with every monster you defeat and every chest you open, and your best score is saved so you always have a number to beat. Free to play in your browser, with no download required.
How to Play
Click or tap a card to flip it face-up, then flip a second card to try for a match.
- Match a pair of attack cards to damage the monster. Different attacks hit for different amounts, and a Critical Strike pair instantly defeats the monster.
- Match Minor Heal or Complete Heal to restore your health.
- Match a Power Enhance pair to permanently boost your attack damage for the run.- Mismatch and you take damage — and mismatching cards you have already seen doubles the penalty, so remember where things are.
Defeat every monster on a floor to earn a treasure chest, then move on to the next floor. Survive all four floors and beat the dungeon boss to win. If your health reaches zero, the run is over.
Use the on-screen buttons for sound, closed captions, fullscreen, and quit. The game plays entirely with the mouse on desktop and with taps on mobile.
